KNX home automation
The ADVANCED B+ model is equipped with a hardware connection on the circuit board for the RS485 bus, which enables the connection of devices for master-slave communication via terminals 3-4-5. The system can also be integrated into a KNX network via this connection, provided this is carried out by a qualified electrician. In this case, the functions of the remote control or a wall panel can be transferred to the KNX system and controlled via it.
Is a bathroom fan practical?
Yes, a bathroom fan is practical because it helps to reduce moisture in bathrooms and thus to prevent mould growth. High humidity can also result in unpleasant odours and an unhygienic room climate. A bathroom fan can also contribute to preventing condensation from forming on mirrors and surfaces, which is particularly useful if there is little or no daylight in the bathroom.
Which fan for the bathroom?
However, a fan with sufficient extraction capacity is required for a bathroom in order to effectively remove moisture and odours and to prevent mould growth. There are a wide range of fan models on the market, but the following are some important factors for choosing one:

What does a bathroom fan do?
A bathroom fan is a mechanical ventilation device which is installed in bathrooms or other rooms with higher humidity levels. The fan extracts the moist air from the room and conducts it outside, contributing to the reduction of mould growth, condensation and moisture. A bathroom fan also improves the air quality by removing pollutants, odours and carbon monoxide from the air, thus ensuring a hygienic living climate.
Why should you ventilate a bathroom?
It is important to ventilate a bathroom regularly in order to prevent moisture and mould growth. Steam is produced when you take a bath or shower. This condenses in the room air and collects on surfaces such as tiles and ceilings. If the moisture is not adequately removed, then this can result in mould growth and a poor room climate. Ventilation reduces humidity and brings fresh air into the room, which results in a healthier and more pleasant room climate.
