Because of the risk of an electric shock, mostly due to proximity to water, electrical installations are only allowed in certain positions in bathrooms.
This ventilation unit is categorised as a class II product with the level of protection IPX4 (protection against splashing water from any direction – water splashing from all sides). It is therefore only permitted to install it in the light blue and white zone.
